A couple of weeks ago I went to the Grand opening party of Monki's new store in Tsim Sha Tsui, this is the 2nd Monki store in Hong Kong. It was a night full of fun, food and drinks. A few cool activities were arranged like D.I.Y beanies, temporary tattoos, photobooth and there was also a funky bright coloured clip-on hair extensions booth too, surprisingly enough I managed to get through all of them. To celebrate, we had 20% off every purchase so I ended up buying a chunky knit jumper and a green chain necklace. I also went back a few days later and bought an oversized denim shirt. I really do need to stop spending so much!

A quick snapshot of what I wore today. It's finally starting to get a bit chilly in Hong Kong and hopefully it will soon get cold enough for me to wear my new shearling aviator coat from Topshop. I want to get a pair of black ankle boots and I do have a few styles in mind but i'm still not quite sure which pair to buy, I will do a wishlist post on it next week with a few of my favourite styles.

LINKS OF LONDON AW13 PREVIEW

Last week I went to check out Links of London's AW13 collection featuring jewellery and watches. The brand showcased their latest collections including Night Time Garden, Star Dust, Diamond Whispers, Dream Catcher and Steel Element in different theme sets such as the English Afternoon Tea, London Workshop Jeweller and the English Study Room. Some of my top picks from the jewellery collections include the Friendship Skull Bracelet - It features hand woven threads and silver miniature skulls. Star Dust Bracelet - Inspired by lustrous sparkle of the sky at night. The bracelet features mesh in a diamond cut glitter finish, cubic zirconia and a sparkle of diamonds. One of my favorite watches include the Black Phoebe Watch - A ceramic black watch with rose gold plating.

CONVERSE SS14 PREVIEW

Last week I went to check out the Converse Spring/Summer 2014 collection, I literally loved everything I saw, especially the 'Platform Plus' and the new 'Chuck Taylor All Star Glam Rock' sneakers. The SS14 All Star collection features pops of vibrant colors, colorful tie-dye prints and bold colour blocking patterns. The double wedged Chuck Taylor All Star Platform Plus sneakers will be a new style addition to the season. The All Star Premium Collection offers premium materials and new styles such as the light weight studded canvas, platform plus and animal embossed leather.

The Converse CONS SS14 collection introduces a new twist on the iconic silhouette. Featuring details such as refreshing colour tones for spring, tie-dye suede and sport inspired colour tones. The new Jack Purcell Sneakers includes two new styles - Jack Purcell Post Applied: A crafted sneaker with a full-leather midsole. Jack Purcell Tortoise Leather Jack: Tortoise shell detailing and a cork insole.

Below are two of my most favourite styles from the new collection and on my wish list too. I'm absolutely in love with the rose gold style but I would personally want it in the low-top, as it would make my legs look slimmer and longer. I wish it came out this November so I could treat myself as a birthday present, but I guess I need to wait until January til I could add the two to my sneaker collection.
