Y-3 GRAND OPENING

Last week I went to the Grand Opening of Y-3's new concept store at Wellington Street, Central (Hong Kong).  The new store follows the global signature Y-3 brand concept, white, black and orange. 

"This is my dream", a seven day pop up exhibition is held next to the new store from 1 March - 7th March, to celebrate ten years of collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas, Y-3 has screened the documentary Yohji Yamamoto: "This is my dream" throughout 2011 in various cities.  You can now see this at the pop up exhibition in Hong Kong.

MEETING SOPHIE LABBE: SALVATORE FERRAGAMO "SIGNORINA"

I've had a really exciting and busy week, there's been so many events cramped into one week.  So be warned for the next couple of days there's going to be a few more posts about the events I went to from this week, which I hope you would like.  

One of the very special events I went to was Salvatore Ferragamo.  I had the honor of meeting the Perfumer of the new Salvatore Ferragamo "Signorina" fragrance, Sophie Labbe.  Meeting the Perfumer, the expert of perfumes for a "Sniff test" has been a great learning experience.  I've never experienced anything like this before.  Sophie took us through the Top notes, Heart notes to the Dry down notes.  We smelt every layer of the "Signorina" fragrance.  It was amazing to discover the smell of pink pepper, jasmine, peony, rose, pannacotta, patchouly and musk, the seven different notes in the fragrance.  Experiencing the fragrance myself,  I have to say "Signorina" is addictive, it has a fruity, floral with a hint of spiciness to it.  You have to test it out to get the feeling.  It's absolutely lush!!

I'm addicted to perfume and have to spray perfume before I walk out my front door, getting the chance to meet Sophie the super lovely and friendly lady, the perfumer who created iconic fragrances for other world renowned brands is definitely unforgettable.

ECCO SS12

I'm a massive shoe fanatic, I love buying shoes and looking at gorgeous shoes.  When I know I'm going to spend the whole day out, I would like to wear a pair of comfortable shoes.  ECCO's Spring/Summer 2012 collection has done the trick, comfortable but stylish at the same time.

When I went to check out the SS12 collection the other day, I spotted a pair of really nice Oxford's and red wedges (above), and for the men's the "Androw" (above) are super cool, all with comfortable insoles.

L'ODYSSEE DE CARTIER

As a Cartier lover, i'm so excited to share this news with you!  Cartier will unveil a 3'30 film L'Odyssée de Cartier on 4th March 2012 at 11pm on all different channels in Hong Kong.  The film tells the story of how Cartier, "King of Jewelers", has always created gorgeous pieces with passion.

The heroine of this short film is the panther, the icon of Cartier since 1914.  The emblematic creature goes on an imaginary voyage, between dream and reality.

MONKI: SIMPLISTICALLY-COOL-SUPREMATISM

I love the Monki SS12 collection: Simplistically-Cool-Suprematism.  This is definitely  my style, simple cuts and shapes and gorgeous colours.  Again, I've found some really cool pieces I want to sneak into my wardrobe, I seriously need to go to Monki to check it out!

In my last post I mentioned about going back to London.  Yes I've booked my flight, I will be going back to the UK in May for a month, I'm super super excited and can't wait!  I miss home so much, shopping, eating......woohoo!  LOVE IT!!!!  Let the countdown begin!

I had my hair dyed again last week, I couldn't stand my roots!  This time it's more vivid, love it! 

OK, so I went to Forever 21 to pick up some clothes last week with my friend, I managed to grab this mint coloured sweater, I'm lovin' pastel colours for Spring this year and necklace and of course a few other things, but I might take back the other stuff I bought and exchange it for something else as I'm still not too sure if I like them or not.

I'm thinking of going back home to London for one month in May this year, again I'm still deciding.  Yes or No? The price of the flight tickets are a problem, it's a little expensive!
