I had three days off work this week so I thought it would be nice to spend a day somewhere else other than Hong Kong, so I went to Macau yesterday. 
I went for the casual, simple and comfortable look yesterday.  I did loads of walking on my trip to Macau so I had to wear some comfortable shoes.  I left my heels at home and went for some trainers, I don't do that alot unless I know I will be walking all day.  I wore my new Lacoste trainers and I love them!  I don't usually wear alot of trainers apart from my converse but these Lacoste ones are super comfortable!  Their so light it literally felt like I wasn't wearing any shoes, seriously! 
I highly recommend them if you're looking something casual, light and comfortable!

VAN CLEEF & ARPELS PREVIEW

Van Cleef & Arpels will be opening it's first Maison in Asia.  Cate Blanchett will be in Hong Kong to attend the grand opening of Van Cleef & Arpels third Maison on 16th September 2011.

I was invited to preview the store before it's opening this week.  Everything was so beautiful, diamonds are definitely a girls best friend.  Not only was the jewellery beautiful but also the interior too, the patterns on the wall, the staircase, the chandelier all has it's own special meaning to it.

One of the special pieces I looked at that day has to be the Ballerina Dancer, the ballerina is detachable so this set can worn as a necklace or as a clip.  Each part of the necklace is very detailed, it was amazing.

CHOPARD AFTER-PARTY

Last week I went to the Chopard afterparty, celebrating the opening of the new boutique at IFC mall Hong Kong.  The evening was filled with celebrities, glam, shine and sparkles. 

The party kicked off with champagne and a performance by a dance crew.  There was an amazing dessert buffet where I kept on sneaking macarons onto my plate!

This leopard print cardigan are one of my favourite's. 
I bought it like 6-7 years ago from Oasis and I'm still wearing it, I'm quite surprised it's still in very good condition. 
I've been living in maxi dresses and maxi skirts for the last couple of months as it's super hot in Hong Kong, can't wait til it gets a little cooler.
