PAPER LONDON

Last week I went to visit the Paper London showroom to check out their SS12 collection.  I really enjoyed exploring through the collection, the colours were beautiful and I literally loved everything I saw.  I love wearing knits, maxi dresses/skirts, shirts and blazers, they had it all in this collection.  Paper London is here to create an inspirational, chic workwear for women so you don't need to wear the same boring black skirt and shirt to the office, but apart from just wearing these pieces to work you can also wear  it on a day out, that's what I love about this brand.  There's so many things I wanted to take home with me especially the Martini printed collar shirt-vest and the striped maxi dress!!

Yes this is a beauty post.  This is the first time i've done a beauty post on my blog, as well as fashion I believe it's pretty normal for me to be obsessed with beauty too.  I want to try and bring more new things into my blog so I can share more with my readers.  So probably from now on I might start introducing some beauty things on my blog now and again.  Last week I had the chance to be booked in for a private make up session with one of the Make Up Artists or should I say Colour Stylists at Dior to try on the new 2012 Summer collection "Croisette".  During the one hour with the MUA, I actually learnt some new techniques of applying make up myself.  So let me take you on a brief journey on my Dior make up session.

To start of with the MUA used a lip plump on my lips I love the minty smell from this product and he also asked if I liked my make up to be more colorful and bright or more of the natural toned down look and of course I like the natural warm tone look.  So he went with the warm eyeshadow palette "Aurora" .  He applied a new product on me called Eye gloss, the texture is like lip gloss, sticky and shiny.  To apply this you use your fingers and top it up with eyeshadow so that it lasts longer and brings out the colour from the eye gloss even more.  A product he used on me which I really loved was the Dior Nude Tan and Radiance Powder, the bronzer.  I love my tanned skin, and i'm looking to get my skin even more tanned but anyway, he put the bronzer on me in a "3" shape on the side of my face for a more  natural sun kissed look and I think I will apply it like that now.

I am so obsessed with the neon jacket, I didn't even think twice and bought it right away after I tried it on.  It's one of the best things I bought so far this year (clothing wise), I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a neon jacket to add to your wardrobe!  Another thing I'm obsessed with is this amazing clutch by Bracher Emden, I love the geometric shape.  It takes you from day to night and goes with everything, another thing I recommend. Yep and Bracher Emden is stocking up in I.T. stores in Hong Kong, you should definitely go and check it out if your Hong Kong.

BEADS AND EMBELLISHMENT H&M AUTUMN 2012

"Minimalism meets maximalism for women this Autumn at H&M"

Last week I went to the H&M press day to have a look at whats in-store this Autumn 2012.  Tailored coat, zippered-ankle slacks, oversized cable knits, collarless bomber jackets and printed leggings are the key garments this coming season.  I'm really excited for the Autumn 2012 collection, I spotted so many pieces I want from the collection already, the gold satchel, the animal printed shorts, the knits and the accessories are all really gorgeous.  Next season's accessories we are talking about costume jewellery, embellishment and beads.

Sleek black and futuristic grey with browns are the main colours in autumn.  A burst of colour will be found in prints and patterns  and a surprising pop of metallic.  I definitely know what I want next season!

WISH LIST

As some of you might already know (I know, I know I can't stop going on about it), I'm going back home to England for one month and this day is coming closer and closer, 2 weeks left!  I've made a wishlist, in fact I should say shopping list of what I want from Topshop.  To be honest this is nowhere near half of the list, but I've put up some of the things I really want (need).  Soon I can shop at the places I've missed Urban Outfitters, Office Shoes, Selfridges.....

ANNA DELLO RUSSO FOR H&M

I know there's still five months to go but seriously, get ready for the Anna Dello Russo for H&M Accessories collection!  It will be available from 4th October 2012 in selected stores and online (hopefully it will be launched in Hong Kong too), and YES I am really excited!!  ADR has always been a Fashion Icon, it's amazing that she's going to share her designs with us.  The collection features jewellery, shoes, sunglasses, bags and a trolley.

I think I will be getting a few pieces from this gorgeous collection.  Check out that clutch, ooh and super cute sunnies too!
