LANE CRAWFORD SS14 SHOES & ACCESSORIES COLLECTION PREVIEW

A couple of weeks back, I went to preview the Lane Crawford SS14 shoes and accessories collection, featuring a wide array of designer brands such as, Alexander Wang, Valentino, Givenchy and Saint Laurent. Lane Crawford's global edit of SS14 footwear and accessories is inspired by five distinctive trends: Botanical Blast, Sporting Spirit, Urban Nomad, '80s Revival and the Unusual Suspects.

In the all new collection, find everything from Saint Laurent see-through pexiglass clutches to Proenza Schouler backpacks, ASH hidden wedge sneakers to Reed Krakoff's Peek-a-boo transparent PVC pumps, Alexander McQueen tasselled bags to Alexander Wang metallic bags and vampish mules by Manolo Blahnik. PINKO SS14 COLLECTION

I've never really looked into the Italian clothing brand Pinko before, but after checking out their Spring/Summer 2014 collection a couple of weeks ago, i'm in love! Their all new SS14 collection includes four major themes, such as Exotic, Memory Puzzle, Bubble Gum and Les annees follies. a.k.a The Roaring Twenties.

This seasons dresses makes the ultimate fashion statement, whether it's knee or ankle lengths, softly body skimming or stretch fit, they're designed to flatter your figure. Playing with fun exotic prints, studs and denim, Pinko SS14 is all about having fun.

Accessories include timeless handbags as well as envelope and clutch styles in basic shapes, bright and matte colours.

MONKI SS14 COLLECTION PREVIEW

A couple of weeks ago I went to check out the Monki SS14 collection. The brand showcased their all new collection with Future Exotica, a collection that does exactly what it says it is: boldly exotic and urbanely futuristic. Full of unexpected silhouettes in popping green, the collection features a wide variety of playful and stylish pieces, such as oversized blazers to crop tops, wildly printed leggings to chunky shoes, statement accessories and cute underwear. It's all about the prints, organic animal and plant motifs in techno-inspired textures like shiny foiler neon.

This is what I wore yesterday. I have indeed been wearing the hell out these boots ever since I bought them a few weeks back, seriously can't get enough of them! I also added another pair of Nike's to my Nike sneaker collection, this time it's the Air Max 90 Essential in pink and and grey, they're super comfy and i'm guessing they will be up on the blog pretty soon!

HUGO BOSS SUMMER 2014: CONTEMPORARY ELEMENTS

A couple of weeks I went to the Hugo Boss SS14 collection preview, but i'm not going to use any of the photo's I took that day as they didn't turn out that well, so i'm going use the lookbook images Hugo Boss provided me with. Anyway, in this post i'm going to particularly highlight the HUGO Summer 2014 collection, why? Because I love it!

For the first time ever, HUGO leans towards the more feminine side with a slight edginess. Venturing into new dimensions, presenting a style that is both down-to-earth and ethereally light in a single collection. This summer, the brand plays with strong prints, soft silhouettes and subdued colours. Featuring super versatile pieces, from camouflage printed summer tops & skirts to delicate lace shirts, honeycomb-structured jacquard trousers to boxy shorts, and sleek silk blouses to strappy dresses. This season Hugo introduces 3D to high-fashion looks. Absolute heaven!
