Here's a few pics from the Paul Smith FW13 preview, the collection is a mix of soft and hard textures, dark wintery shades with bright colours like fuchsia, cobalt, teal and rust balanced off with neutral navy, off-white and silver. Geometric prints are incorporated into the fabrics, bonded into felted wool and crisp cotton.

PAUL SMITH AW13 AD CAMPAIGN

Earlier in the year I featured the Paul Smith SS13 collection on my blog, introducing the bright colours and colour blocking within the collection.  Ever since then i've been a proud supporter of Paul Smith and obviously because i'm British myself, I have to support our very own British designers.  In the next couple of weeks i'm going to preview the AW13 collection, and i'm super excited to check out what they're going to have in-store for us.  So, for the time being i've featured the Paul Smith AW13 Ad Campaign above.  This time round the designer has gone for a richer, darker mood.  Stay tuned to for the next Paul Smith post!

ALEXA CHUNG IN PAUL SMITH

I've always been a massive fan of Alexa Chung, I just love her effortless yet chic style.  As a proud Brit myself, I've always supported British brands.  I'm beginning to like Paul Smith more and more, especially after the AW13 collection, which has been featured on my blog here.  Paul Smith and Alexa Chung were together at the 2013 Vogue Festival to talk about fashion and personalities.  She was spotted wearing the Sun Bleach Check Belted Shirt Dress from the Paul Smith Black Label, which also comes in yellow and she looked great as usual.

PAUL SMITH AW13

I love the Paul Smith AW13 collection.  Wintery shades injected with vibrant colours like fuchsia, pink, cobalt, teal and rust, to balance it out neutral navy, off-white and silver are used.  In this collection there are a mix of soft/hard textures and graphics.  The oversized portfolio clutch is the key accessory and it's also my favourite! I've picked out a few looks which I love the most from the new collection on here.
