CATH KIDSTON SS14 COLLECTION PREVIEW - 'BRIGHTEN UP YOUR DAY'

Cath Kidston, the iconic British fashion and lifestyle brand, which is best known for it's unique prints showcased their bright and beautiful Spring/Summer 2014 collection by the poolside at EAST, Hong Kong. Replicating a classic British seaside summer, the all new collection was displayed in four customised beach shacks.

With four summery themes; Brighten Up, Aubrey Adventures, Field Rose Florals and Patchwork Pretty, the SS14 collection features a wide selection of bags, kitchenware, travel goods and accessories in a cute range of prints like, The Pembridge Rose & Westbourne Rose florals, Aubrey Rose print, playful Safari conversational prints, cranberry-red Field Roses, Patchwork prints and Button Spots. All adding a fresh new energy for the new season! 

For all the Cath Kidston lovers in Hong Kong, Feast (Food by EAST) has teamed up with Cath Kidston for an exclusive afternoon tea, artistically directed by the award-winning cake designer, Penney Pang. From 24th March to 18th May 2014, enjoy an afternoon tea set during the weekdays or a tea buffet during the weekends which are both inspired by Cath Kidston's bright and beautiful Spring/Summer 2014 collection - Brighten Up Your Day.

WHITE NIKE DUNK SKY HI SNEAKERS

Ok, so I've had my eye on these beauties for a while now and I've finally ordered them from ASOS a couple of days ago, so now i'm just happily waiting for them to arrive on my doorstep. These will officially be the 3rd pair of 'Dunk Sky Hi' wedge sneakers to join my Nike collection, and I can't wait to take them out for a stroll!

The all new Massimo Dutti SS14 collection instantly transports you to an idyllic postcard with bright sunshine. This season, the label did a tour of places that inspire this time of the year, resulting in a practical guide to 'traveller' styling. ALICE + OLIVIA BY STACEY BENDET SS14 COLLECTION PREVIEW

Stacey Bendet's Spring 2014 collection for alice + olivia is at the crossroads of prep-meets-pretty. It's the 'American Girl' - carefree collegiate with a romantic twist.

The collection is built around sophisticated neutrals accented by pops of pastel. Pink, aqua, yellow and silver complement nude, bone, black and white. Key pieces include the mini skirt, slip dress, crop top, little white suit and an updated blazer. Spring is about mixing prep with pretty in a fresh way, from beaded jackets worn over collared shirts to modern collarless blazers paired with lace shorts, full skirts for daytime and crop tops for all time. 

Accessories provide contrast to the understated color palette via striking bursts of light aqua green and sunny yellow.

LANE CRAWFORD SS14 SHOES & ACCESSORIES COLLECTION PREVIEW

A couple of weeks back, I went to preview the Lane Crawford SS14 shoes and accessories collection, featuring a wide array of designer brands such as, Alexander Wang, Valentino, Givenchy and Saint Laurent. Lane Crawford's global edit of SS14 footwear and accessories is inspired by five distinctive trends: Botanical Blast, Sporting Spirit, Urban Nomad, '80s Revival and the Unusual Suspects. 

In the all new collection, find everything from Saint Laurent see-through pexiglass clutches to Proenza Schouler backpacks, ASH hidden wedge sneakers to Reed Krakoff's Peek-a-boo transparent PVC pumps, Alexander McQueen tasselled bags to Alexander Wang metallic bags and vampish mules by Manolo Blahnik. Heaven!
